Difficulty level and frequency of exams per sem:
In this stream its an exam all through the semester. There are sessionals and submissions which constitute 50% of the total marks. These submissions are made during the normal class days. For the remaining marks there are theory exams. They are not that difficult. There are 2 exams per semester. The number of submissions depend on the Sessional subject. However there are two compulsory Design submissions per semester

Administration & management of the institution:Satisfactory

Room Sharing:1st and 2nd year rooms are shared. From 3rd year onwards you get a single room

Mess facilities & food quality:
Hostel mess available, food quality depends on the hall/hostel. Generally north Indian

Proximity of hostel room from college lecture hall:Near

In close proximity to Howrah Railway Station.Airport

What things do you like most about your college (optional):
Officially 75% attendance reqd but hardly followed, cooking is allowed in hostels
