Difficulty level and frequency of exams per sem:
The key to scoring good marks during your graduation in DU are the practicals and the internals. Trust me, this is a tested and tried method. The teachers in my deparment were extremely dedicated. And if you are sincere and hard-working, the teachers will be more than ready to help you. We had an annual system with a house exam in January and yeah, lots of assignments and projects plus one or two internal test depending on your teacher and the paper. The class room lessons are enough to safely cruise through the University exams and well, we all know.. Hard work and dedication is the key to success.

Hostel facilities:Available

Room Sharing (if hostel facility is available):I got the hostel in my III yr. Double sharing.

Mess facilities & food quality:
Food pretty okay. Non-veg days on wednesdays. And the best mesl of the day has to be that healthy breakfast.

Accommodation details (in case if there is no hostel facility):
I stayed for two years (I and II yr) outside the hostel in Outram lines. And it was a growing experience. Delhi is different and you meet all kinds of people and that is what helps you grow and learn how to deal with people. The feeling of self assurance and independence you get is PRICELESS!!So, all I'm trying to say is.. the idea of living outside (the hostel) shouldn't dissuade you from applying to the college you want.

It is at the very heart Of the North Campus of Delhi University. The Hostel gate at the back is at walking distance from the metro station. And with Patel Chest at the vicinity, Miaranda House sure is any student's delight.

Extracurricular Activities: Sports, Functions & ceremonies (optional):
We had department fest, fresher's, farewell, an annual college fest(TEMPEST), a hostel night, a hostel guest night and of course, lots of fest in the campus in other colleges. And activities in the college were countless. Being a science student, my class schedules restricted me from attending much.

Best thing about the college/ Do's and Don'ts / Any other comments /:
Miranda House ..the whole atmosphere out there is very constructive. It sure prepares you for life and helps to build and mould your personality. The classroom lectures are good. And like I mentioned before, the teachers are very approchable. My three years in college was a most fulfilling experience.

Present company / college:Just completed my M.Sc(Zoology) in DU. Have cleared CSIR-UGC--NET with JRF
